Cave survey and cartography
Cave Survey is the data collection in the cave and Cave Cartography the drawing process of a cave map.
Cave Survey is the collection of survey information in the cave while cave diving. A variety of survey techniques wll be practiced.
Cave Cartography if the use and translation of survey data into a cave map. A variety of cartography styles will be covered with the production of a traditional hand drawn cave map by the end of the course.
The combination of Survey and Cartography culminates in the ability to collect survey data and produce cave maps. The combined Survey and Cartography course can be taken in two or three days depending on how much detail you want to have in your cave map you are going to produce within the course.
